2-Time KY Sportscaster of Year Taylor Leaving WAVE-TV

Two-time NSMA Kentucky Sportscaster of the Year, Kent Taylor, is leaving WAVE-TV in Louisville after 22 years at the station. Taylor made the announcement Monday on his Twitter page.

"It's official. My last day at WAVE-TV will be Wednesday, November 30. After 22 years it's time to move on. Thank you to everyone who has shared their story and allowed me to be a part of your journey. From the Olympics in Salt Lake City in 2002, to the Ryder Cup in 2008....and numerous trips to the Final Four. Not to mention the many hours of coverage of the Kentucky Derby and 28 years of high school football coverage. I'm going to spend some time with my family and coach my daughter's basketball team. I'm excited for new opportunities!"
