Jerry Izenberg to celebrate 94th birthday with NJ Hall of Fame online interview next Tuesday

East Rutherford, NJ (Sept. 5, 2024) -- The New Jersey Hall of Fame (NJHOF) will commemorate the 94th birthday of one of its own inductees, legendary Star-Ledger sports columnist Jerry Izenberg (Class of 2018), by hosting a "Homecoming Day" Zoom interview. Hosted by Mark Di Ionno, the hour-long live interview will take place on Jerry's birthday, Next Tuesday, Sept. 10, beginning at Noon EDT. It will be available to the public at no charge.

Jerry Izenberg is in the 74th year of his newspaper career. The author of 15 books, his latest, Larry Doby in Black And White: The Story of a Baseball Pioneer, was released to rave reviews in May. He's been inducted into 18 Halls of Fame.
