LAUSANNE, February 1, 2022 – Following the conclusion of an intense first stage of judging, AIPS is ready to present the longlists for each category of the AIPS Sport Media Awards 2021. Starting today from Photography (Sport Action), the remaining longlists will be published over the next days.
LAUSANNE, December 31, 2021 - The year 2021 has not been an easy year, but now we are facing 2022 with the hope that something better will come. I think we have to be optimistic, even if our last two years have not been so good. I think our profession has been put in danger in these two years: many of us have lost our jobs since there was no possibility to enter the stadiums and, in general, to develop our skills by meeting people. This is something that must be restored.
The National Sports Media Association will once again host its Sports Media Convergence Summit on Monday, December 13, as part of the NSMA's 61st Awards Weekend. The Summit, geared towards college students and young professionals, is a series of seminars and panels, designed to educate attendees. Industry professionals will speak to the students and young professionals on a variety of topics, while some pros will offer critiques of demo reels in one-on-one or small group settings.
The NSMA will host its 61st Awards Weekend, December 12-13, 2021 in Winston-Salem, NC, honoring 13 Hall of Fame inductees, National and State award winners from 2019 and 2020, as well as the Woody Durham Voice of College Sports award winners and Jim Nantz Collegiate Sportscaster of the Year award winners from the previous two years.Reserve your seat today.
