- 2024 State Sportscasters and Sportswriters of the Year from 49 states plus DC;
- the Woody Durham Voice of College Sports Award winner (Ray Goss, Duquesne University);
- the Jim Nantz College Sportscaster of the Year (TBD);
- Lifetime Achievement Award winner, Doug Rice of Performance Racing Network (PRN);
- the 2024-25 Big House Gaines College Basketball Coaches of the Year for Division I (Dennis Gates, Missouri) and II (Tyreece Brown, Fayetteville State women's team).

If you're interested in staying at the Awards Weekend headquarters hotel (Grandover Resort & Spa), the NSMA has a discounted room block at $187/night, plus 12.75% taxes/fees (approximate total = $211/night). The rate is good for three days before and three days after the event. Rooms at the discounted rate are guaranteed until June 2, 2025, or as long as rooms are available.
