The National Sports Media Association Student Chapter at Austin Peay State University just completed its ninth year as a registered student organization on the APSU campus.

This school year, chapter members were treated to an exclusive tour of the new F&M Bank Arena before its public opening in downtown Clarksville, Tennessee. The arena is managed by the NHL’s Nashville Predators and is the new home for Governors men’s and women’s basketball and APSU’s new club hockey team.

Chapter members have been attending the NSMA Hall of Fame Weekend since 2014 and four lucky members were chosen to attend the 2023 event in Winston-Salem. The APSU NSMA Student Chapter is looking forward to the upcoming 2024 event in Greensboro and beginning its 10^th year as an affiliate of the NSMA.
