'08 Sportswriter of Year Vilhauer Writes Book on Sports Parenting

National Sports Media Association member Dave Vilhauer of Aberdeen, S.D., has written a book entitled, The Parent Trapped Within (A Guide to Sports Parenting).

Vilhauer, the 2008 NSMA South Dakota Sportswriter of the Year, is a nearly 40-year member of the media. He will share things he has seen during his decades of covering games, as well as experiences he had as a parent of an athlete.

The book contains a foreword by ESPN Senior Writer, Buster Olney, as well as reviews from Eddie Timanus of USA Today, Jo Auch, Assistant Executive Director of the South Dakota High School Activities Association, Holly Hoffman, Professional Speaker and Author, and Dave Goren, Executive Director of the National Sports Media Association.
