9-Time MT Sportscaster of Year Erickson Goes Out on Own

Rocky Erickson, a nine-time NSMA Montana Sportscaster of the Year, has gone out on his own after 25 years with the Northern News Network. Erickson moved into his home office on December 1. From there, he anchors his Montana Sports Show, which is heard on more than 40 stations. His new Rocky Sports Stories will be heard on more than 100 stations in four states, beginning in January. He is also continuing to work as a freelancer in radio and TV sportscasting.

Erickson won NSMA's Montana Sportscaster award in 1990, 1992-1993, 1995, 1997, 2000, 2004, 2009 and 2015.
