NSMA Awards Weekend Postponed

Due to lingering issues with the COVID-19 pandemic, the NSMA Board and executive director Dave Goren made the difficult decision to delay the 61st Awards Weekend. We considered several factors including the continuing uncertainties around member travel, our inability to conduct normal fundraising events, and the feedback our members shared with us in surveys. We are evaluating alternative dates for a great in-person award ceremony later this year as well as exciting virtual options in the interim. Like most organizations, we are adapting and trying to celebrate our winners in the best way possible.

“I am working closely with our NSMA Board members to make sure our award winners have the best experience we can provide. NSMA has a 61-year legacy of honoring our members and winners, bringing the profession together and celebrating excellence among peers," Goren said. “Many of you know me well and hopefully know that I won’t rest until I see the smile on the faces of all our 2020 and 2021 winners as they receive their awards and hear or see the applause from their peers, friends, and family."
