NSMA to Debut Mentorship Program

At the NSMA, we're about two things, honoring and celebrating excellence in our industry, and helping the next generation of sports media practitioners. Our organization's dual mission includes helping students and young professionals navigate their sports media paths.

With the help of Ghanaian sports journalist Philip Alimo, the NSMA is launching a virtual mentorship program on July 10th. Many of you already serve as unofficial mentors, while many of you also know you could benefit from this proposed program. Our goal is for mentors to educate mentees on best industry practices while advising and encouraging them as they grow.
