Clemson's Dabo Swinney was named the winner of his second straight Paul "Bear" Bryant College Football Coach of the Year Award on Jan. 11, at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX. The Bryant Awards dinner is the largest fundraiser for the Houston chapter of the American Heart Association and is sponsored by Marathon Oil. Swinney became the first coach to win the Bryant Award in back-to-back years. Voting was conducted among the members of the National Sports Media Association, immediately after Swinney's Tigers won the College Football Playoff National Championship.
