2026 NSMA Awards/Convention Tickets (Public)

We'll be honoring:

  • our 2026 Hall of Fame inductees James Brown (CBS), Adrian Wojnarowski (ESPN), Greg Gumbel (CBS), and Sid Hartman (Minneapolis Star Tribune);
  • 2025 National Sportscaster of the Year, Sean McDonough (ESPN);
  • 2025 National Sportswriter of the Year, Ross Dellenger (Yahoo Sports);
  • 2025 State Sportscasters and Sportswriters of the Year from 49 states plus DC;
  • the Woody Durham Voice of College Sports Award winner (TBD);
  • the Jim Nantz College Sportscaster of the Year (TBD);
  • the 2025-26 Big House Gaines College Basketball Coaches of the Year for Division I (TBD) and II (TBD).

Sunday, June 28th

9:30-11:30 a.m. - Feedback Session (for Summit registrants only) - Dress: Business or business casual

12:30 - 4:30 p.m. - Sports Media Convergence Summit - Dress: Business or business casual

5:00 - 6:00 p.m. - 66th NSMA Awards Reception - Dress: Business/cocktail

6:00 - 8:30 p.m. - 66th NSMA Awards Banquet (Ceremony begins promptly at 6:00) - Dress: Business for men; business or cocktail for women

8:30 p.m. - After Party (Cash Bar)

HOTEL INFO:

If you want to stay at the Awards Weekend headquarters hotel (Grandover Resort & Spa), the NSMA has a discounted room block at $193/night, plus 12.75% taxes/fees (approximate total = $212/night). The rate is good for three days before and after the event. Rooms at the discounted rate are guaranteed until May 28, 2026, or as long as rooms are available.

Guests may make reservations by calling the reservations line at 336-294-1800 and stating the booking code “062526NSMA” or by using this online booking link. The link will be active until May 27, 2026. After that, guests will need to call in to make reservations, which will be accepted based on availability.
