IOC President Bach to stand unopposed for re-election in 2021
LAUSANNE, December 1, 2020 – Thomas Bach will stand unopposed next year for a second term as president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the governing body confirmed on Tuesday (1 December).

The year
2020 has been an exceptional one for sport and sports journalism because of the
Covid-19 pandemic. In spite of a calendar riddled with suspensions,
postponements and cancellations, several sporting events were still organised
and concluded, albeit under very specific conditions. As a mark of respect for
the preparation and efforts of all the professional athletes, AIPS opens its
usual end-of-the-year poll to choose the very best from a peculiar year of

Applications open for Chengdu 2021 FISU-AIPS Young Reporters Programme
LAUSANNE, October 19, 2020 – The International University Sports Federation has opened applications for the sixth edition of the Young Reporters Programme, that will be delivered at the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games from 18-29 August next year.
